October was a month of nourishing my health, happiness and mind. There was a large focus on my health as I started an 8 week nutrition course. My intention for doing this course is to focus on wholefoods, learn what a balanced meal is, learn how to support my hormones and feel energetic on the daily. I’m not going to lie the first few weeks were challenging, I had cut out all the naughty snacks and no take out. I am now focused on 80% whole foods, 20% other. After five weeks of hard work, I have found my balance. Being able to eat out, have a biscuit with a cuppa or a chocolate if I like. I have learnt to be more present when I am eating and really enjoy the food I eat. Along with cleaning up my nutrition, I have also been very focused on my daily steps. Having a desk job I am lucky to do 2000 steps a day. I have started every morning with a walk of 5000 steps. I am averaging 8000 a day. I have never felt better. I am in the gym at least three times a week and really enjoying my training.
I continued the theme of feeling into what I need each day from September. This has been a massive game changer. By asking myself “What do I need today”, everything I do from career, health, fitness and my relationships is coming from an aligned place. There are things that I do need to get done each day. Then I allow myself to move towards what I am feeling. When we are connected to our feelings, we can do the activities and surround ourselves with the people we feel good around and when we feel good, everything we desire starts to fall into place. I also don’t feel like I am “Working” all the time, whether its my full time job, Best Life Babez, maintaining my house to attending social events. It all feels good and aligned. I will continue taking this theme into November and beyond, as I have found it works for me.
October has also taught me to let go of the outcome. When we are working towards a goal, we can get very attached to the outcome. I have been working on a few goals. I have been in action, focused and feeling into my desires. I became so focused on the outcome, I wasn’t experiencing and embracing the journey. This month I let go of the outcome, I surrendered. I believed I had done all I had to, the rest would take care of itself and it has. While the outcome and the result are important, the journey along the way is important. If you are in action and focused. You will achieve. If you don’t there is something more for you.
I also finished my 3 month coaching series with my coach Chloe. October was full of action to achieve my goals. Not only did I achieve my goals. I also now live from a more aligned and grounded place. I found my balance in all aspects of my life. I have a very organised and solid foundation for my coaching business. I have created the most beautiful client contracts, website and have all admin sides of the business ready for my new clients. I wake up everyday and live my life as my true, authentic self. I feel so warm on the inside and so content with the place I am at in my life. Working with Chloe has been incredible. Chloe has supported me along my journey, kept me accountable and held a beautiful, safe space for me. I could not of achieved what I did in the last three months without Chloe. I am excited to see where my journey continues to lead me.
I am excited for November. I will continue to cement in my healthy habits for my nutrition and fitness. I am getting back in my 5am mornings and putting a solid sleep routine together. I have many exciting projects for Best Life Babez; monthly newsletters for 2022, face to face workshop and of course my beautiful 1:1 clients. I am also very excited for summer, christmas and the holiday season to create many memories.
