July was without a doubt the quickest month of the year for me. No sooner did it start, it was finished. The month felt quiet overwhelming at times and very busy. Parts of my life I thrived in and others I just threw my hands in the air.
As some of you may know I am an accountant in my day job. July is naturally a very busy month in this profession. However it had several extra layers of busiest added to it. From software upgrades, end of financial year to my employer starting an additional company. I was busy on the go everyday. My to do lists were endless. I handled this the best I could. I prioritised my to do’s everyday in order of importance. I reminded myself “I am doing the best I can”. I did have one day where I just felt all the feels, I let myself feel them. I cried, I let them out and I decided when to move forward. I felt alot better after doing this. I am proud of how I handled the month. I am moving into another busy month, with a solid foundation of tools to get through it.
Best Life Babez absolutely thrived in July. I signed up two new pro bono clients. I finished up with my first ever client as well. It was so special to guide, support and encourage someone on their journey and be apart of their transformation. I am very proud of my client and myself. I also finished all of my modules with the Beautiful You Coaching Academy and have my final call this week, to celebrate with my peers. It has been an incredible six months of study. I am excited to continue my journey in the coaching world. I finished the month with a fun photo shoot. My lovely sister takes all my content and photos. I am very blessed and grateful to have her support and amazing photography skills.
I definitely didn’t train in the gym as much as I would of liked. I ate way to many extra snacks. This is absolutely ok. I did finish the month on a positive note, back walking every single day and incorpoating stretching back into my morning routine. Moving into August, I am commiting to four sessions a week at the gym, daily walks and planning all my meals/snacks. Being organised will be key to me achieving this goal.
At home I did alot of cleaning and organising my space. I chose one thing each week to declutter. I am almost finished. When my home feels clear and clean. I feel so much better. Especially working from home most days, this is really important to me. I didn’t have alot of me time, solo dates or adventures this month. One of my goals for August is to set some boundaries around my time. Block out time for work, BLBz, fitness, hobbies and “me time”. I am really excited to get clear on these boundaries and start implementing them.
My biggest takeaway from July is to not be hard on myself. The days when it feels hard, take it slow, be gentle and caring towards yourself. I am looking forward to August having more fun, happiness and adventures. My days feeling more ease and flow. With all the overwhelm in July, I am glad it was a quick month. Not every month is going to be sunshine and lollipops, thats ok. Its all about how we move through it and still conquer.
